How to change the finish key after entering text

(Note: I am working on a Mac environment. )
After using the text tool, I finish writing letters with shift+enter.
I don't like this, I want to close the text with esc or another key.
Please tell me how to change the 'letter ending key set with shift+enter keys' to another key.
