Image Transparency Issues

So I'm not sure if it is from the newest update or not, but now on any new canvas file I make, any PNG I import comes in already transparent, and I cannot seem to be able to make them normal. The opacity setting hasn't been messed with at all, nor any setting for that matter, save for me changing the canvas measurements from pixels to inches.
Is there any way to fix this?

2 years agoIs it a PNG image with a transparent part from the beginning?
I think it's a good idea to create a layer under the PNG image and let the color flow in a bucket or the like.

2 years agoIf the PNG image is transparent as a whole, make sure that the opacity of the layer is 100%, duplicate some layers of the PNG image and merge the images when the transparency disappears. I think it's good.

2 years agoIs there any problem if I drop PNG as it is to CLIP STUDIO PAINT instead of importing it?
It may be helpful to post a screenshot of CLIP STUDIO PAINT with images and a layer palette.
