Why can't I draw again on the part where I erased in alpha lock?

1 year agoWhen you hide the paper, is the erased part white?
If it's white, you should be able to write. Try drawing with a thick black marker. Also make the upper layer invisible.
If you select and erase it, it will be deleted and made transparent. You cannot draw on transparent areas.

1 year agoIf you want to replace it with white instead of erasing it transparently, check if the following settings are checked.
Preferences > Tools > Drawing on a layer with locked transparent pixels replaces the transparent color with white

1 year agoBecause it is alpha locked. All erased parts become alpha, hence, they get locked.
