I want to decrease the opacity of my selected area, however it doesn't lower the opacity of the selected area, it lowers the opacity of the entire layer.
Does anyone know a way to decrease the opacity of a selected area without it effecting the entire layer? And if there aren't any ways, are there alternatives?

6 years agoYou could use Advanced Fill (in Edit menu), set the "drawing color" to transparent, set opacity and other parameters to your liking and hit "OK".
