When the stabilizer is maximized, the operation may slow down and the effect may not be visible depending on the brush size.
Why not change the parameters little by little and see the difference in effect?

I unfortunately tried the different sizes but there doesn't seem to be any change when it came to sizes

The stabilizer also picks up the difference between the user's hand movements "slow and fast".

I tried both slow and fast strokes and I feel as if it might be a brush causing it that I downloaded?

If you don't know what you downloaded, do you ask it?

I think so because even some of the brush images were destroyed ( like flower patterns )
, if not I need to find a way to reset everything

If you want to answer unfriendly questions
How about using the initialization button next to the tool icon in the tool properties of that brush?
