I converted the text to outline on Illustrator and saved it as SVG on my Google Drive. I can see the file on Drive and see the contents but it won't import. Is there anything I'm missing?
I have version 1.11.4 and I'm using CSP on a Samsung tablet. TIA

2 years agoOK. Then there could be a compatibility problem with the .svg files.
Try the following:
Check which .svg format the Illustrator is exporting to.
I only know that from inkscape. I never worked with the illustrator. But the following problem sometimes occurs with inkscape: inkscape saves in its own .svg format. You don't see that this is a native .svg format. The ending .svg is always the same, no matter which .svg format is used. Only at the moment when you export does the field in which the file format is specified read: "Inkscape-SVG (* .svg)". See if the illustrator does that too. There is probably something like: "Adobe-SVG (* .svg)" or "Illustrator-SVG (* .svg)". Then try to select something like "Normal SVG (* .svg)" instead
If that is not possible or does not work, you can try the following again:
Download inkscape (preferably from inkscape.org). The program is completely free.
Save your Illustrator lettering in the Illustrator .ai format.
Open the .ai file in Inkscape (the program usually has no problem with this).
Go to> File> save as
Save in Inkscape-SVG format or as normal SVG.
See if you can then import the file into CSP. (I've tried this and it works for me with the inkscape SVG.)
If that doesn't work either, I don't know what to do next.
Warm greetings!
