Why won’t my data sync from cloud to iPad?

I use Clip Studio on both my iMac and my iPad. I have a project that I drew on my iPad and colored on my iMac and it won’t sync the colored version from the cloud to my iPad. There is a weird download bar (only on my iPad) at the top of my screen with a cloud icon next to it (pictured). There is also a warning (also only on my iPad) that pops up (also pictured) when I click download and overwrite even though I have closed the document fully. I tried creating a different project with screenshots of the art, but the same thing happened, although this time it couldn’t transfer from cloud to Mac. Information that might help: I use EX, it is a multi-page artwork, and I am open to uninstalling and reinstalling as a last resort. If my dual-device usage of Clip Studio is in fact doomed, please tell me how I can switch to a single-device plan! Thank you!
