Cursor keeps reverting to eraser when switching tools

Recently, my cursor would briefly(?) change to the eraser tool whenever I switch to another tool using a keyboard shortcut, and it will remain the eraser until I move it where it then becomes the tool I switched to. If I switched to a tool and use the cursor before moving it (like painting a stroke), it will act like the eraser until the stroke is done, and so long as the cursor does not move from where the stroke ended, it will still act like the eraser. It also prevents me from using the arrow keys to move an unlocked layer because when I do, the cursor changes into the eraser and the layer won't move, at least not without control/command+T. Keep in mind this occurs even without a tablet in use, though this problem began when I was using a tablet. I'm also not sure if manually selecting a tool causes the same problem since I'd have to move my cursor back and forth to select a tool, making it difficult to tell if this problem is a shortcut problem. Is there any way to fix this?

I don't know anything about your environment other than MacOS.

What version of MacOS and CLIP STUDIO are you using?

    Are the operating environment compatible?

For reference, my macOS is currently macOS Sonoma (14.4.1), and my Clip Studio Paint version is ver. 1.13.2. To my knowledge, this is the latest version without upgrading to 2.0+.

Additional note: I found out removing Eraser from Tail Switch in the Modifier Key settings seem to remove the problem, but it returns when I reset that setting to default.
