4 years agoHow large is the file you're? Whether it's the canvas size or the file size that's big, if it's BIG then it'll take a while.
I had a file that surprisingly amounted to 1GB+, considering also the size of the canvas which is almost 13inches wide. It took my clip studio 2-3 minutes to load and open it for editing; the saving part took at least 5 mins (yeesh!).
If you're serious about it, upgrading your ram to at least 8GB is essential. It'll save you time and tears. Good luck though.- English

4 years agoI suppose that since you can open the file and the loading bar appears, means that it isn't corrupted. That's a good thing; it's salvageable.
From my own experience, you can either: a) by optimising your computer's capability first, you should close all other programs besides clip studio. Then just wait for it to finish loading....
OR b) you can open it in another art/editing program (eg. photoshop, medibang, etc.) then reduce the file size or image/canvas size, and export it the same format (.psd or .clip) as a file duplicate.
Good luck.- English
