Cant find CLIPStudio.exe when installing CLIP Studio Paint

I just got CLIP Studio Paint, but when i downloaded the setup file, and when completed, it just ends. the issue is that i cannot open CSP, because i do not have the exe file for CLIPStudio itself. how do i get the exe file, as i have now reinstalled i several times without any luck.

5 years agoUnless the user intentionally changes the installation destination, the usual installation destination is,
"C: \ Program Files \ CELSYS \ CLIP STUDIO 1.5 \ CLIP STUDIO \ CLIPStudio.exe"
"C: \ Program Files \ CELSYS \ CLIP STUDIO 1.5 \ CLIP STUDIO PAINT \ CLIPStudioPaint.exe"
It should be in.
Something wrong with the program may be occurring.
Please try over completely uninstalling, not overwriting reinstallation.
Uninstall in Windows Control Panel / Program / Program and Features in the following order.
CLIP STUDIO PAINT 1.8.x
CLIP STUDIO 1.8.x
Restart the computer
How about trying reinstalling CLIP STUDIO PAINT?
If the problem persists, contact the support team.

5 years agothe fact is that when installing CSP, CS should be installed aswel. put in my case, CS does not appear as a folder. The only folder that appears after installation is the CSP folder. i hope this makes any sense, as it is really confusing. I have looked online on how the normal installation should look like, and the big difference is that in all other cases, the folder for CS is intalled with the CSP folder. When i have installed CSP, no desktop appears, and the only thing i can find under the name CLIPStudio, is a broken shortcut that says that CLIPStudio.exe is missing.

5 years agoYou can delete the broken shortcut because it is a remnant of the old version.
Even once, we recommend pinning to the task bar when CLIP STUDIO can be started.

5 years agoIm gonna try contacting the support team tomorrow. I have already tried reinstalling CSP several times, without any luck. When you are describing the destination, "C: \ Program Files \ CELSYS \ CLIP STUDIO 1.5 \ CLIP STUDIO \ CLIPStudio.exe", for me, the folder "CLIPSTUDIO" is missing.

What you want to install is version 1.8.5, right?
Although it is impossible, installing with the old version may be under the route "CLIP STUDIO 1.5 EN" below.
"C: \ Program Files \ CELSYS \ CLIP STUDIO 1.5 EN \ CLIP STUDIO \ CLIPStudio.exe"

5 years agoYour case is similar to mine. Although the solution may varied, I was advised to :
1. Uninstall the current Clip Studio Paint and Clip Studio app from control panel
2. Create a new administrator account
3. Install Clip Studio Paint http://www.clipstudio.net/en/dl with the new administrator account
4. Open Clip Studio App
5. Try opening Clip Studio Paint from Clip Studio App
