I know that if you normally paste a tone and then paste another tone on top of it to add a shadow, it will not be reflected when you print or export unless you shift the shadow tone.
If I add a shadow by multiplication when painting with grayscale and tone it, will it be reflected as a shadow without shifting the shadow layer? Or is it not done?
I was worried, so I asked a question. Thank you for your answer.

If "reflected as a shadow" means that the tone will be the same as it looks, that's right.
This method is recommended because it is toned as it is seen in gray, so there is no moire.
Once you try to export with the same settings as when exporting, you will be satisfied with it.
